Summary

TINY HEROES works fully offline without an account, ads, or tracking/analytics cookies. Online rankings and races are optional and only start when you choose a nickname.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress, settings and language preference are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) or in the app's private storage. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share a replay link.

Share links

When you share a replay, the link contains only the level id and your list of commands. It contains no personal information.

Online rankings and races (optional)

If you go online, our server stores: the nickname you choose, a random player ID, a hashed access key (the key itself stays only on your device), your best verified run per level (as a replay code), race results and rating, and timestamps. Your nickname, scores and race results are shown publicly. We use this only to run rankings and races. Your IP address is used briefly in memory for abuse protection and is not stored in our database. The server and database run on Railway (Railway Corp., USA) as our processor. Data is kept until you delete it: Online → Account & privacy lets you download your data or delete your online account at any time, which removes it from the server immediately. Please do not use your real name as a nickname.

Anonymous counters

We count total visits, people online right now and app downloads. This uses a random ID kept only for the current browser tab and a once-per-install flag on your device; we store only the totals, not who you are. Bots are not filtered.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process technical request data such as IP address and browser type for security and to deliver the website. We do not use this data to identify you.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Third parties

We do not sell or share personal information. Fonts and all game assets are served from our own domain.

Your rights

You can erase all locally stored data at any time with Settings → Reset progress, or by clearing your browser's site data. For any request, contact us by email.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in the game.
